Lynn received his Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University of Washington in 1961 and a Master's Degree in Architecture from the Pratt Institute in 1962. As a principal of Woollen, Molzan and Partners for over thirty years, Lynn has developed the firm’s management practices including overall project organization, cost control, contract negotiations, specification formats, and construction administration procedures. He has extensive experience coordinating large design teams and complex multi-phase projects. Lynn was elected to the College of Fellows of the AIA in 1980 for his service to the profession. He has been President of the AIA Indiana (1985) and AIA Indianapolis (1972) and was on the Board of the AIA East Central States Region. He served (1991-1994) as Executive Director of the Indiana Architectural Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of education, public awareness and preservation. Key projects for which Lynn was the Partner-in-Charge include: Center for Agricultural Science and Heritage Museum, and the Indianapolis Zoo. He has also had a major architectural role in the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Indiana Repertory Theatre Restoration and Indiana University Musical Arts Center, the Marian College Library and the award-winning Cushwa-Leighton Library. He was the overall coordinator of the firm’s eight years of work with the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and was the Partner-in-Charge for the Wabash Valley Correctional Institution, a $124 million project.
